The OCEAN STATE FOLLIES produced by funnyman Charlie Hall will continue on most Saturday nights for a limited 3 month run. Occasional Friday and Sunday matinee performances are also scheduled.
Included in this new version are spoofs on the Gov. Raimondo /Speaker Nick Mattiello car tax squabble, Barrington’s yoga pants parade (“Too Tight, Too Tight” from West Side Story), medical marijuana (“Let It Grow” from Frozen), and the UHIP computer problems (Billy Joel’s “Longest Time”).
Also making appearances are a tweeting President Trump, Linc Chafee (“Just My Imagination”), Providence mayor Elorza (“Downtown”) and the Superman Building which sings “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls. Channel 10’s Patrice Wood anchors the fake news report, Channel 12’s Tim White stakes out former lawmaker John Carnevale, and Mr. Rhody returns with his flashcards to teach the local Rhody accent.
$45 for dinner, show, tax and tip. Please call the restaurant at 401.270.7111. Diner get preferred seating. Show only tix ($25) available only if there’s room. Bill Pinelli provides a creative Italian buffet that differs each week, however it always includes a fabulous pasta or two, a chicken entree, potatoes, veggies, salad, coffee, dessert.
